Easton Garlic Fest Poster Contest

Prize:
Your Design featured on the 2011 Garlic Fest Poster
Plus a $50 Gift Certificate to a local restaurant!
(Other Designs may be selected for Easton Garlic Fest Collectible T-shirts.)

Guidelines:
Contest open to Amateur & Professional Artists. Actual print poster size is 11"X17". Entries should be roughly proportionate to that size. The Selection committee is seeking bold designs that can be easily viewed from a distance. Please submit: two-dimensional, original artwork, no photographs. Design must incorporate the words: Eat Drink Stink (no commas), Easton Garlic Fest and a space for the date to be inserted. Please include your name, address, phone number and email address with entry.

Deadline to Enter: 5:00pm, Wednesday September 29th, 2010. All entries must be submitted to PNC Bank branch, 61 N. 3rd Street, Easton. Call 610 252-1188 for questions.

Judging: All entries will be judged by the Easton Garlic Fest Executive Committee. The Winning Entry will be announced at 3:00pm during the festival.

Artist Reproduction Rights:
All artwork becomes property of Easton Garlic Fest. Artist agrees that Easton Garlic Fest may use artwork in whole or part for any promotional materials generated by Easton Garlic Fest. Artist agrees that design in whole or part will not be used for any other garlic festival. Original Artwork remains the property of the artist. Artist may use the design for self-promotion, portfolio work or exhibits, but may not sell materials with design in whole or part. The Artist will be given credit for design on all printed matter, or anywhere design is used. Easton Garlic Fest is not responsible for damage to artwork.

Dracula Dip Contest

The Easton Garlic Fest will be holding a cook-off for the best "stinkin" dip in town. The cook-off is scheduled for October 3rd, 2009 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. All entries must register at the festival and be set up by 12:30 sharp. The winner will be announced at 2:00 pm immediately following the judging.

Rules:

Recipes for the cook-off must include garlic.
Your dip must be at least 3 cups and must be accompanied by something to serve with it (eg. crackers, pretzels, etc.). All recipes should be prepared ahead of time and brought to the festival ready to serve.
Please provide recipe, name and ingredients, in recipe form and submit it at registration on a typed 4 x 6 recipe card. On the reverse side please include your name, address and phone #.
The recipe becomes the property of the Easton Garlic Fest.
Put your name on all items brought to the festival. All items must be picked up by the end of the festival. Any items not picked up will be discarded at the end of the festival. The Easton Garlic Fest is not responsible for lost/damaged items.
The decision of the judging panel is final and binding.
